It totally feels like we just started the first term, yet here we are, at the very start of the school holidays! The first term holiday is usually about a week if my memory serves me correctly. This time its a whole two weeks. In this article, you’ll find 15 indoor kids activities in Cape Town for March 2019 school holidays. I’ve also previously put together a smaller list of outdoor kids activities in Cape Town which are budget friendly too so I’ve got everyone covered.
Indoor Kids Activities in Cape Town for March 2019 School Holidays
Watch Wonder Park Movie at Canal Walk
We were fortunate to watch the premiere of Wonder Park at Numetro’s Scene Extreme cinema. It’s the biggest screen in South Africa with state of the art sound. Theres plenty of booster seats for your tiny humans and reclining seats for the tired mama!
Plus, your kids will be even more thrilled when you take them to meet and greet Boomer from Wonder Park on Saturday, 30 March 2019, from 4pm – 6pm on the Centre Court Stage. (Thank me later ha!)

Visit SPACE at Cape Gate Center (15 – 31 March 2019)
Your kids will love this entertainment created specifically for them. They will get to learn some educational facts about space and get to climb through a 16m wormhole and lazer zone. Our favorite was the very thrilling rocket ride. It slowly lifts space travelers to the top and then drops to the bottom in lightening speed! Pretty cool!
